      Dan Collison became Farm Africa's Chief Executive in May 2020. Dan has 25 years of experience gained in a range of humanitarian, emergency and development roles within organisations such as Save the Children and Christian Aid. He was most recently the Director of Programmes and Advocacy with War Child.

      Jenni leads the fundraising directorate at Farm Africa responsible for raising vital funds through a variety of channels. These include supporting and communicating with Farm Africa’s individual supporters as well as delivering corporate and events Fundraising. Jenni is also responsible for driving forward Farm Africa’s ambitious digital strategy, finding new and innovative ways to engage with supporters online. Prior to joining Farm Africa in 2016, Jenni began her fundraising career at the RNLI before working at Shelter.

      Giles became Director of Finance and IT in August 2018. He is a Chartered Accountant, and started his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers before spending 12 years at the BBC and then moving to the British Red Cross. He joined Farm Africa in 2016, initially in the Kenya office, before moving back to the UK to take up the role of Head of Finance.

      Rachel joined Farm Africa in 2007, and held a number of senior roles in the UK before relocating to Uganda in 2016. After spending the early part of her career working in Malawi, and then within the UK private sector, Rachel worked within fundraising and marketing teams at a number of UK and international organisations before joining the Farm Africa team.

      Tom has extensive experience of leading and managing development projects over the past 17 years in East and Southern Africa. Prior to joining Farm Africa in June 2016, he headed the Rural Livelihoods and Agriculture portfolio for Irish Aid in Tanzania, chairing the project investment committee of the Agricultural Marketing Development Trust and developing policy research on the food reserve agency and national input subsidies.  Before this he was Director in Zambia and Tanzania for the youth-led agency Restless Development. He holds a PhD from the University of London (SOAS).

      Colin leads our business development team. He has over 12 years’ experience in the international development sector engaging with a diverse set of stakeholders across multiple continents. Previously, he was the Director of Development for AIP Foundation, an educational organization and social enterprise, and the Deputy Director of Development for Operation ASHA, a public health organization. Colin holds a BA in Sociology from the University of California Berkeley and a MA in Anthropology and Sociology from the Central European University.

      Jane leads Farm Africa’s human resources function and has more than 16 years’ experience in the not-for-profit sector. Jane joined Farm Africa in 2003, working in a number of roles, before moving into human resources in 2008. Prior to taking up her role with Farm Africa, Jane worked in the retail and marketing sectors, working for a number of organisations including the British Parachute Association.

      Amber joined Farm Africa after a five year stint at Deloitte, where she trained as a Chartered Accountant. At Deloitte she worked in Risk Advisory which involved working with clients to diagnose the root causes, and assist in the resolution, of issues facing their finance teams. Her lead into the International Development sector started with a volunteer placement in Rwanda where she worked with a local charity to improve their financial controls and technical capacity. She is passionate about empowering people and firmly believes that within finance there is space for greater innovation and creativity.

      Libby leads the communications and advocacy team. Prior to joining Farm Africa in 2015 she worked for WaterAid America for eight years leading the communications team, and previously managed the communications services and community fundraising teams at WaterAid UK. She started her career at a design and event management company managing accounts for major TV and film companies. Libby holds an MA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford.

      Penny leads the corporate partnerships team as they engage with the private sector to build strategic and impactful relationships. Having worked in fostering charity-corporate partnerships for nearly a decade, Penny is a firm believer in the capacity of business to help deliver tangible and long-term change, and enjoys building links between a company’s motivations and Farm Africa’s aims. Previously Penny worked at organisations including Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity and The Connection at St Martin’s. She joined Farm Africa in 2014.
